Lucy Arvin artist
Born in Cleveland Ohio, Lucy grew up as the daughter of a Minister dad and an artist mom. Growing up a "preacher's kid" she was exposed music and art early on. Always singing in the choir, or watching her mom make stained glass, pointed Lucy in the direction of a career in the arts. Lucy was always putting on shows for the neighborhood. She loved to sing and would write songs, pull together the costumes and sets, then perform them for friends and family. As a teen, she was discovered and brought to Hollywood fronting the band "Anderine" which had backing from a major producer. Lucy went on to many successful careers in a variety of creative fields. She discovered her muse after moving to Nashville, Tennessee. in 2000. She began to study jazz and art at the same time. Now her work brings the excitement of jazz in the colorful art she creates in her studio.
